Battlefield Bad Company 2 Server

32 slot ranked, in Dallas

For those of you with this game let me know who you are and once you
have played on the server.  I'll get your admin set up.  MUST play
before you can be added.  The admin tools are WAY different than on
any Valve game.  I'll help y'all with what I know.

Well we are trying to cut some costs and maybe expand into some other games or mods all at the same time.  So we have a new trial server, 69.12.63.21:27015  Right now it is setup just like the Deathmatch server with the exception of some maps.  Let us know what y'all think about this server, how it plays, lag,  basically your overall impression.  If we like it we are going to switch providers, which should allow us to expand or try new stuff while saving some money.  We also have a ventrilo server up and going so might as well use it.  If y'all would rather try a CS:S mod other than death match on this trial server let me know and I'll try ad get it going.  Gungame would not be too dificult but we already have one of those up and going now too.  GO PLAY!!!!!!!

Well as you have noticed if you have been following the discussions, we are now on a newer-bigger-better box. We have all new IP's and are running 6 gaming instances now. This isn't even making our server blink so we will probably add some more as well.  The newest addition is a CS death match server and it has already been finding a steady audience.  There are still alot of things on the wish list we need to add, but life delays us.  Thank you if you like what we are doing and feel like participating by donating.  Every little bit helps. Two Left4Dead Servers Now

As you can see on the home page we now have two left for dead servers running here and they are staying full just about all the time. Watch the discussion board for more updates to come... -Ben

Progress report

The forums as always are updated much more often than this page so I would suggest checking there often :)
Here is where we are at:
  • The new server has been brought online and seems to be running great. A few issues had to ironed out as well as some networking changes on our hosts part.
  • We have dropped manimod and eventscripts due to some lag we were experiencing and running sourcemod instead.
  • Parachutes are enabled as well as all the standard goodies that you have come to expect. Hopefully more to come soon.
  • Hartman and I just finished setting up psychostats to replace what we had. Please note this is still beta and HS and other things aren't recorded yet.
So if you have yet to play check it out. Soon we will implement some type of special day of the week like the old admin Tuesdays we used to have  (probably on Thursday nights).

New Counter-Strike Source Server

evenkill.com or 67.19.47.154 is a new server we have just brought up. We are testing and getting things right but add it to your favorites and check up out there. If you can play tonight around 9pm Central we are trying to max out the server to test its capabilities.

(Another) New Server

Many of you have heard me complain about how our new server shows up
on the public server list and how we are attempting to obtain a new IP
address because of that. Well in the next few days we should be
bringing online a new server with a new IP. We will keep you posted.

Stats

As you may have noticed the stats link works on the left now. You may also use that page to see who is currently playing etc by clicking on the server status. The stats include bot kills since we play bots-vs alot.  Though eventually the bots will be dropped from calculation. I am sure some settings need to be tweaked and you can read what they are and post your suggested changes HERE.

Map List

I cleaned up ALOT of stuff last night and I have the fast map downloads
pointing at Hartman's site temporarily (and it works, I tested).  Right now
I've limited the number of maps on there until we get the other fast dl site
working. I need to make a list of all the ones that do not have an overview
so I can hunt them down on the web or create  a .res file that includes
them. Anyway,s try them out -enjoy. Oh and let me know which ones dont work
with bots correctly (get stuck in spawn and such) -Ben ( I am posting this
in the other forum too)
